Kansas City's big second quarter was too much for the Ravens, as the Chiefs picked up a 33-28 win in a battle of 2-0 teams.
In a game that featured a pair of red-hot quarterbacks in Lamar Jackson and Patrick Mahomes, it was the Chiefs offense that prevailed.

Baltimore struck first with a Mark Ingram punch-in at the goal line in the first quarter, but the second period was all Chiefs. Kansas City recorded each of their 28 points in Week 2 against Oakland in the second quarter, and it tallied a 23-0 pop in the second quarter against Baltimore.
After Kansas City's scoring barrage, the Ravens were forced to play catch-up against a Chiefs offense that had everything working. The high-powered offenses combined for a total of 955 yards and 56 first downs.
Jackson tried to work as much magic as possible after falling behind 30-19, including a number of downfield prayers and effective scrambles out of the pocket. In the end, though, it was the second quarter that again allowed the Chiefs to coast in the second half to another victory.
