Lamar Jackson impressed in his rookie campaign, but knew there was still room for improvement entering his second year.

The Ravens quarterback set an NFL record last season for rushing attempts by a quarterback, logging 147 carries for 695 yards in only half a season as the starter.

On the other hand, Jackson also tied for the NFL lead with 12 fumbles, and he dropped the ball three more times in Baltimore's wild-card playoff loss. But he's confident that number won't be nearly as high in 2019.

"That's not a concern. My concern is on winning," Jackson said Tuesday, via the team's official website. "I got it fixed. Got to wait till the regular season to see what goes on."

Ravens coach John Harbaugh echoed that confidence, saying his offense has had time to properly adjust to Jackson being under center after he came in midway through last season to replace injured veteran Joe Flacco, who was later dealt to the Broncos.

"I think it’s been way better. Just watching the practices, you probably saw it," Harbaugh said. "Lamar makes very few mistakes with ball handling right now. The snaps have been much more accurate than they have in the past, so that starts everything off on the right foot. You haven’t seen a lot of the more complicated ball-handling plays, but the ones we have run have been well done."

The Ravens have two preseason games remaining before their Sept. 8 opener in Miami.
