Ravens and record-setting kicker Justin Tucker have agreed on a four-year extension, running through the 2023 season, the team announced Wednesday.

The deal is worth $23.05 million, including $12.5 million fully guaranteed in the first two years and an $8 million signing bonus, ESPN.com reported, citing an unidentified source. Those numbers, if accurate, represent records for a kicker, according to the report.

The contract's average annual value of $5,762,500 pushes Tucker past 49ers kicker Robbie Gould ($4.971 million AAV).

Interestingly, Gould on Tuesday reportedly made a move to force the Niners' hand, requesting a trade after he was franchise-tagged in February for the 2019 season and the sides have been unable to agree to a multi-year contract.

Tucker, considered by many to be the best kicker in the NFL, was entering the final year of a four-year, $16.8 million deal he signed in 2016.

He has a career 90.1 field-goal percentage, tops in NFL history. He missed a PAT attempt for the first time in his career last season, leaving him 241-for-242 (99.6 percent) over seven seasons.
