BALTIMORE — The way the first half of their game against the Chiefs had gone, it seemed as if the Ravens would slink into their locker room down by 17. Then, the Chiefs secondary suddenly went to sleep and gave the Ravens an incredible, and inexcusable, Hail Mary touchdown on the final play.

At the Chiefs' 48 with four seconds left, the Ravens called time out, seemed to consider trying a 65-yard field goal, then chose to take one last shot at the end zone. Jimmy Clausen threw it just before getting hit, it came down around the five-yard line ... and Kamar Aiken cut across from his left, leaped in front of four Chiefs defenders, caught it and raced into the end zone. Of the four Chiefs, only safety Eric Berry appeared to have picked up where the ball was and left his feet to try to break it up.

The extra point brought the Ravens, dominated throughout the first half, to within 10 points. With the score at 24-14, the Ravens will receive the second-half kickoff.

It was Clausen's second touchdown pass of the half, and his second as the Ravens' starter; his first start for them was last week's 35-6 loss to the Seahawks.
