Rams owner Stan Kroenke has notified the NFL that he is willing to share his proposed Los Angeles-area stadium with another team.

In a letter submitted to the NFL owners' L.A. committee, Kroenke said he would be open to bringing on a second-team partner for his Inglewood site. While the Chargers and Raiders have their own proposed joint stadium in Carson, Calif., this does add a new wrinkle to a team possibly relocating to Los Angeles.

Kroenke's proposed partnership gives the league another option when trying to decide which team, or teams, would move to L.A., and a vote could come as early as January.

According to the L.A. News Group, the letter details a framework for a partnership that outlines a full 50/50 partnership on stadium costs and stadium use for whichever team joins the Rams in Inglewood. That deal, which would be exclusively for stadium revenue, includes game-day revenue streams, parking and sponsorship.

Kroenke would retain sole ownership of any development on the surrounding land.

The state of Missouri and the city of St. Louis believe they have a viable stadium plan in place to keep the Rams in the Gateway City. According to NFL Network, that is something that has not gone unnoticed by league owners. Relocation by any NFL team would require approval from at least 24 of the league's 32 owners.
