The Rams used a curious play to put themselves just a touchdown behind the Packers in their NFL playoffs divisional round meeting Saturday.

After running back Cam Akers scored a TD out of the Wildcat formation, coach Sean McVay called a nifty hook-and-lateral for the 2-point conversion to make the score 25-18, Green Bay, with 1:41 remaining in the third quarter:

It's not too often you see a hook-and-lateral in the NFL, especially on a non-game-ending play.

Unless you're the Dolphins, that is.

Twitter was quick to point out Los Angeles' play was suspiciously similar to a play Brian Flores and Miami used in the team's 22-12 win over the Patriots in Week 15. Here's a side-by-side comparison of the two plays, courtesy of Sporting News' Jordan Heck:

There's nothing in the rules that says teams can't copy plays, of course. And it's not as if the Dolphins, who missed the playoffs, are in a position to use it. That didn't stop Twitter from noticing the similarity and saying the the Rams "stole" the play:
