The Los Angeles Rams received some unfortunate news following their very first day of training camp. According to reports, Rams cornerback Derion Kendrick suffered a torn ACL Wednesday. If that is the case, Kendrick will likely miss the entire season.

According to Adam Grosbard, a Rams beat writer for the Orange County Register, Kendrick had collided with a receiver during a drill and came up gingerly, but could limp off the field.
It's a particularly brutal blow to a Rams secondary already thin at cornerback. Kendrick, by all accounts, seemed like part of the plan at cornerback to help shore up their depth while awaiting news on Tre'Davious White's health.
The Rams have yet to announce the injury officially, but hopefully it isn't as bad as initially feared. If it is, expect the Rams to move quickly in finding a replacement in free agency.
