In a recent article ranking the wide receiver trios of every team in the NFL, the Las Vegas Raiders' group landed right in the middle of the pack.
According to the Sporting News' Tyler Greenawalt, Las Vegas' trio of Davante Adams, Jakobi Meyers and Tre Tucker land at No. 17 on the list.
Adams is the clear-cut No. 1 receiver for the Raiders and remains one of the best in the business. The question is, do the Raiders have a quarterback who can maximize Adams' talents? That remains to be seen.
Meyers offers a stellar No. 2 option in Las Vegas' offense. He has been as steady as they come the past three years, with the North Carolina State product having tallied 800 yards in each campaign since 2021.
Because of how unproven he is, the weakest link of the trio is no doubt Tucker, which helps to bring Las Vegas' rank down. However, the Cincinnati product showed plenty of flashes last season and his arrow is definitely pointing up.
The real problem for the Raiders at the position lies in their depth, or lack thereof. Not only is there a quality problem, there is also a quantity problem that must be addressed moving forward.
Either way, the Raiders have an excellent 1-2 punch on the outside and a promising youngster in Tucker. As a result, it can be argued that Las Vegas should be at least a few spots higher on Greenawalt's list.
