The Las Vegas Raiders are doing their due diligence this week when it comes to 2024 NFL draft quarterbacks, with the team reportedly meeting with a pair of them this week.
According to MMQB's Albert Breer, the Raiders are hosting Washington quarterback Michael Penix Jr. on Thursday, a meeting that was reported early this week.
In addition, Las Vegas will host Oregon signal-caller Bo Nix on another 30 visit on Friday.
While there are certainly outliers for both quarterbacks, the consensus seems to be that Nix and Penix Jr. will be there in the second round, where the Raiders have the No. 44 overall pick.

However, anything is possible when it comes to the draft, so there's always a chance the Raiders are targeting one or both in the first round, whether that be via the No. 13 selection, or via a trade back or up.
Both players are intriguing prospects, as Nix and Penix Jr. have the kind of arm talent, accuracy and athleticism that teams are looking for in this day and age.
But it's really anyone's guess what kind of grade the Raiders and the rest of the NFL have on them.
