Upon the death of his legendary father and former Raiders owner Al Davis in 2011, Mark Davis took the reins of the franchise and has been in charge ever since. Unfortunately, he hasn't filled the enormous shoes of his father, although to be fair, very few could.
Since 2011, the Raiders have only made the playoffs twice on Davis' watch and has never advanced past the wild-card round. Also, the franchise has seen a whopping eight different head coaches in that span (including interims).
One thing that can't be questioned, however, is that the Silver & Black runs deep in Davis' veins.
After all, he's been on the sideline cheering the Raiders for a long time, as evidenced by this awesome video of an 18-year-old Davis doing just that during a Raiders game against the Kansas City Chiefs in 1973.

One thing that hasn't changed about Davis? That absolutely fantastic head of hair he's got.
While Davis' tenure hasn't produced much, there is new hope once again now that the Raiders have a new general manager in Tom Telesco and a head coach in Antonio Pierce who had impressive results as the interim last year.
Hopefully this will be the combo that finally puts Davis' Raiders over the top.
