The Kansas City Chiefs held their latest training camp practice on Sunday and had a special guest Las Vegas Raiders fans know quite well: former head coach Jon Gruden.
According to PJ Green of FOX4 News Kansas City, Gruden was in attendance and decked out in Chiefs gear. Green notes, though, that special guests who appear at Chiefs practices are usually wearing the team's gear, so that's nothing new.
Gruden was seen talking to Chiefs head coach Andy Reid, and the two shared a fist bump during the session. Gruden was also spotted talking with Kansas City running back Isiah Pacheco during his visit.

It is certainly weird seeing Gruden wearing Chiefs stuff after the former head coach had a pair of stints with the Raiders, one from 1998-2001 in Oakland, and another from 2018-2021 as the team transitioned from Oakland to Las Vegas.
The second stint ended horribly after Gruden's emails containing "homophobic and misogynistic remarks" came to light, according to The New York Times.
Gruden has not gotten another head-coaching job since, but he did land a role as a consultant with the New Orleans Saints in 2023. He now serves as an advisor to the Milano Seaman of the European League of Football.
