With the Las Vegas Raiders contemplating taking a quarterback in the 2024 NFL draft, the team has apparently shown interest in South Carolina signal-caller, Spencer Rattler.
The news comes from Bleacher Report's Jordan Schultz, who notes that the Raiders met with Rattler the night before the South Carolina Pro Day. Schultz adds that Rattler has drawn interest from and visited with several teams, including the New York Giants and Seattle Seahawks.
Opinions have varied greatly on when Rattler may go off the board later this month. Some analysts have predicted Rattler going in the second round, and that's where Schultz suggests he could go.
However, there have also been mocks with Rattler going later on Day 2, and some experts believe he could be there on Day 3.
South Carolina QB Spencer Rattler remains an intriguing prospect as a Round 2 pick. Team quarterback rankings vary, and in some cases, Rattler is ranked higher than expected.

Of course, it's impossible to know exactly how high on Rattler the Raiders are, but they could target him as early as the 44th overall pick, which they own in the second round. It would be at least fairly shocking if they took him any earlier than that.
Rattler to the Raiders hasn't been talked about much, especially when you compare how much Las Vegas has been linked to Washington quarterback Michael Penix Jr. Perhaps we need to take the possibility of Rattler to the Raiders a bit more seriously.
