The Las Vegas Raiders are once again taking care of one of their best players, with the team reportedly set to give superstar pass-rusher Maxx Crosby a raise ahead of the 2024 season.
According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, Crosby will make an additional $6 million this coming season, but the raise won't add any years to his current deal, which runs through 2026.
The move also pushes an additional $1.2 million into 2025.
Raiders reworked the contract of three-time Pro Bowl DE Maxx Crosby to give him a $6 million raise for the upcoming season, per league sources.

Crosby was set to account for $24.4 million against the cap this year, with a base salary of $19 million. He ranks ninth among edge rushers in annual average, coming in at $23.5 million, so the raise is certainly appropriate.
The three-time Pro Bowler immediately hit the ground running as a rookie and is coming off two seasons in which he tallied a career-high sack total, including a 2023 campaign with 14.5 sacks.
At 26, Crosby is absolutely young enough to get another major contract, and the next one stands to be even bigger than the last, something that was proven by the Raiders giving him a raise.
