With the Las Vegas Raiders in need of more depth at wide receiver, the team brought one in on a visit.
According to the league's transactions wire, the Raiders hosted former Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Jalen Guyton, who came into the league as an undrafted free-agent signing of the Dallas Cowboys in 2019 before landing with the Chargers' practice squad that same year.
Guyton spent five seasons in total with Los Angeles and had some productive years, tallying 511 receiving yards and three scores in 2020 and 448 yards and three touchdowns in 2021.
Unfortunately for him, things have gone off the rails in recent years. Guyton suffered a torn ACL in 2022. He returned in Week 9 of 2023 and played in eight games last season. He only totaled 20 yards or more in one of those eight contests while finding pay dirt once.

Guyton is capable of lining up in the slot or out wide, and he has proven to be a solid deep threat. Las Vegas is very short at wide receiver behind their top three (Davante Adams, Jakobi Meyers and Tre Tucker) and could use more depth competition at the position.
