When it comes to who he thinks might be the best team in the NFL, Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Davante Adams is keeping it real and not naming his own team.
Instead, Adams thinks it "might be" the San Francisco 49ers, a team fresh off a dominant Week 1 win over the New York Jets and his former teammate and quarterback, Aaron Rodgers.
During an appearance on "Up & Adams" with Kay Adams, the Raiders wide receiver was asked who he thinks could beat the Niners in the NFC and Adams stated he thinks San Fran might be the best team in the entire league, not just the NFC.
"(The Niners) knocked my dreams off (while with the Green Bay Packers) a few times," Adams recalled. "So, I don't know, man, they might be the best team in football right now.
"We'll see how this thing continues to unfold, but they got a hell of a squad every year."

Adams' choice was between the Niners or the Kansas City Chiefs. While hearing him name a division rival would've been a tough pill to swallow, he wouldn't have been wrong with that answer, either.
San Francisco has been to four NFC title games in five years and has twice been to the Super Bowl in that span, losing to the Chiefs both times. As a result, the Chiefs should get the title of the best team in the NFL right now, but the Niners certainly aren't far behind them.
While the Raiders will of course see the Chiefs twice this season, they do not have a matchup with the Niners. They did, however, face off against San Fran in the preseason.
