Just in case there were fans out there who were concerned about wide receiver Davante Adams' future with the Las Vegas Raiders for any reason, just know he has zero intentions of leaving.
While hosting his third annual youth football camp on Sunday, the veteran wideout revealed he isn't going anywhere.
"If I wanted to be gone, I'd be gone by now," Adams said, per The Athletic's Tashan Reed. "This is where I want to be."
Adams added that he's happy to see Antonio Pierce get the head-coaching job and is pleased with the overall direction the franchise is heading.
Adams was one of Antonio Pierce's biggest advocates and is obviously happy he got the full-time HC job, but he also feels better about the overall state and direction of the team than he did at this time last year. He's confident the #Raiders can compete in 2024.

The 31-year-old wideout remains under contract with the team through 2026, so he'd have to be traded if he really wanted out. But as long as Adams doesn't request it, the Raiders, a team that has playoff aspirations in 2024, have no reason to let him go.
Despite what the stat sheet said in 2023, Adams still has plenty left in the tank. His lower-than-usual production was a result of issues under center and not a sign of decline.
Even with that situation, Adams still managed to tally 1,144 receiving yards and eight scores, which ranked 15th and tied for eighth in the NFL, respectively.
