The body of the 2024 NFL Draft isn't even cold yet and some experts have already begun making their 2025 NFL Draft projections for the Las Vegas Raiders and the rest of the teams in the league.
The majority of the 2025 NFL mock drafts out there have the Raiders taking a quarterback, which could very well be a major need for Las Vegas in 2025 after they didn't select one in this year's draft. However, that will depend upon how things shake out with Gardner Minshew and Aidan O'Connell.
The frustrating part about these mock drafts is that all of them have the Raiders picking inside or right near the top 10, which means Las Vegas wouldn't make the playoffs in 2024,something we believe the team can do.
Nevertheless, here's who experts are mocking to the Raiders in 2025.
Raiders 2025 NFL mock draft roundup
Ralph D. Russo, Associated Press
The pick: QB Quinn Ewers, Texas (No. 8)
Russo: "In his third season as a starter, Ewers has a chance to reach the ceiling of his recruiting hype."
Ryan Wilson, CBS Sports
The pick: OL Tyler Booker, Alabama (No. 10)
Wilson: "This class isn't particularly deep at offensive tackle (not yet, anyway), but the guard group has some talent; Booker has elite play strength and often finishes plays with his opponent ending up on the ground. He shows a good ability to reach block, pull, and be effective flipping his hips in pass protection."
Michael Middlehurst-Schwartz, USA TODAY
The pick: QB Quinn Ewers, Texas (No. 6)
Middlehurst-Schwartz: "Locked out of the running for the top quarterbacks in this year's draft class, Antonio Pierce and Tom Telesco will have to push through this season with Gardner Minshew II and Aidan O'Connell before evaluating their long-term options next spring. Ewers still lacks consistency as a decision-maker, but there's no questioning that his outstanding ability to zip passes into tight windows will help him stand apart from his peers in the pre-draft process."
Blake Brockermeyer, 247Sports
The pick: QB Carson Beck, Georgia (No. 11)
Brockermeyer: "The Raiders did not make a move for a quarterback Thursday night, instead selecting perhaps the best tight end in college football history in Brock Bowers. Now let's give them his 2023 teammate Carson Beck. Beck was deadly-accurate in his first year as a starter, passer hitting over 74% of his passes for over 3,700 yards and 22 touchdowns. Beck sees the field and delivers the ball with anticipation really well on the short and intermediate routes but can improve on his deep ball accuracy."
