Puka Nacua's magnificent rookie season with the Los Angeles Rams saw him shatter virtually every receiving record, earning him a Second-Team All-Pro nod, a Pro Bowl appearance, and a unanimous member of the PFWA All-Rookie team.
Nacua's tremendous season saw his stock soar and has now earned him wide respect across the league and media.
Pro Football Focus recently released a top 25 list of players under 25 across the NFL. Puka came in 12th overall, the only Ram to make the list.
"A fifth-round pick, Nacua exceeded all expectations as a rookie in Los Angeles. He played as a top-10 wide receiver in the NFL by almost any measure, and his 90.2 PFF overall grade ranked eighth at the position in 2023.
Nacua averaged 5.9 yards after the catch in 2023, the fourth-best mark among wide receivers with 100-plus targets."
Nacua finished as the fourth-ranked wide receiver, behind Ja'Marr Chase, Garrett Wilson and Amon-Ra St. Brown. This is a pretty fair ranking for Nacua, and is pretty astounding for a player with a single season under his belt.
As Nacua continues to grow as a player, he'll only climb further and further. He's still only 22 years old as well, making him one of the most exciting young playmakers in the league.
