For the third straight year, the AFC defeated the NFC in the Pro Bowl. The conference dominated from start to finish to win 26-7.

Chiefs’ quarterback Patrick Mahomes (156 passing yards, touchdown) and Jets’ safety Jamal Adams (sack, interception) took home the offensive and defensive game MVP awards respectively, in a game that featured many of the NFL's best players from the 2018 season.

After a fairly straightforward first half, some different looks emerged from both sides in the final 30 minutes, when players such as Saquon Barkley and Alvin Kamara lined up on defense while Melvin Ingram and Jalen Ramsey appeared on the offensive side of the ball, leading to several fun sequences of events.

5:31 p.m.: TOUCHDOWN, AFC. Jaguars safety Jalen Ramsey catches a touchdown pass from Watson with 19 seconds left to pad the AFC's advantage. The two-point conversoin attempt is no good. AFC 26, NFC 7

5:30 p.m.: Chargers linebacker Melvin Ingram now getting some run in at running back. 

5:25 p.m.: Anthony Sherman's big day continues. He makes the grab for a 49-yard gain. 

5:23 p.m.: INTERCEPTION, AFC. Xavien Howard, who was tied for the NFL lead in interceptions, picks off Prescott's fourth pass attempt on the drive. 

5:16 p.m.: INTERCEPTION, NFC. Mike Evans, who gets some run on defense, comes up with an interception. Several laterals later and the NFC will have the ball at the opposing 39-yard line.

5:09 p.m.: TOUCHDOWN, NFC. The NFC finally gets on the board on a touchdown pass from Prescott to Austin Hooper. AFC 20, NFC 7

5:06 p.m.: The NFC had an easy touchdown but Dak Prescott's pass went right off a wide open Amari Cooper's helmet. 

5:02 p.m.: Alvin Kamara and Saquon Barkley are playing on the other side of the ball and help the NFC defense get a stop. 

End of third quarter: AFC 20, NFC 0

4:56 p.m.: NFC now has eight drives but no points as they go three-and-out. 

4:47 p.m.:  Myers makes his second field goal of the game to increase the lead. Deshaun Watson led the AFC offense 57 yards down the field on the drive.  AFC 20, NFC 0

4:40 p.m. INTERCEPTION, AFC.  Adam Thielen throws the ball on a trick play and is intercepted by Jamal Adams. Second pick of the day for the AFC defense. 

4:36 p.m.:  Ezekiel Elliott takes the fake and runs for 22 yards and a first down. 

4:30 p.m.:  Myers misses a 57-yard field goal, an attempt set up by the short field.

4:26 p.m.: INTERCEPTION, AFC.  Mitchell Trubisky, who entered the game at the end of the second half, is intercepted by Chris Harris Jr. on the first play of the quarter.

Halftime: AFC 17, NFC 0

4:11 p.m.:  The NFC doesn't get very far down the field before the half. They will start with the ball in the third quarter.

4:07 p.m.: FIELD GOAL, AFC.  Myers kicks a 31-yard field goal to push the lead to two possessions.

3:58 p.m.:  Luck and the AFC get a conversion on third-and-10 as we hit the two-minute warning. 

3:49 p.m.:  The NFC's offense continues to sputter as Michael Dickson's third punt of the game lands inside the 10.

3:46 p.m.: INTERCEPTION, NFC.  Luck's pass is picked off by Kyle Fuller.

3:44 p.m.:  After a three-and-out by the NFC, Andrew Luck takes over at quarterback.

3:37 p.m.: TOUCHDOWN, AFC.  Fullback Anthony Sherman pounds it in for the AFC's second touchdown of the game. Jets kicker Jason Myers tacks on the extra point.  AFC 14, NFC 0

End of the first quarter: AFC 7, NFC 0

3:31 p.m.:  AFC quickly takes over with the ball and Mahomes and Allen connect for 50 yards to get into the red zone. 

3:25 p.m.:  A trio of incompletions and a short run leads to the AFC turning it over on downs.

3:19 p.m.:  Mahomes picks up where he left off and connects with Jared Cook for 33 yards.

3:15 p.m.:  The NFC drives inside the 10 but Derwin James and the AFC come up with a goal line stand. Wilson was 3 of 3 passing for 57 yards on the drive.

3:05 p.m.: TOUCHDOWN, AFC.  Mahomes finds a wide open Eric Ebron, who walks into the end zone for a quick AFC score.  AFC 7, NFC 0.

3:04 p.m.:  AFC is putting together some early chunk plays. Mahomes with completions of 18, 15, and 12 yards to James Conner, Keenan Allen and Tyreek Hill. Conner also adds a 12-yard run. 

3:01 p.m.:  No kickoffs, so the AFC will start with the ball at the 25-yard line. Rain is coming down pretty hard in Orlando. 

2:46 p.m.:  Mahomes would rather be in the Super Bowl, but this isn't a bad alternative.

2:11 p.m.:  Russell Wilson warming up under center for the NFC.
