The New England Patriots used two of their 2024 draft picks on quarterbacks, bringing the count in their room to five.
However, on Monday, ESPN's Mike Reiss reported that the Patriots have informed Nathan Rourke that he's being waived.
Rourke, 25, is a former CFL second-round pick, who made the jump to the NFL last season.
He spent most of the season with the Jacksonville Jaguars, but the Patriots claimed him after being waived in December.
New England now has four quarterbacks on the roster - Jacoby Brissett, Bailey Zappe, Drake Maye and Joe Milton III - and that's honestly more than enough for the offseason program.
