The New England Patriots, on an overcast, rainy morning in Foxboro, held their fifth practice session of training camp.
However, this practice was a bit different than the previous, as it was the first in pads for the team, meaning it was closer to real football than the first four sessions.
Here's everything that was seen at the practice fields outside of Gillette Stadium on Monday.
Participation/Attendance
- Linebacker Matthew Judon was on the field, but not in uniform.
- Cornerback Shaun Wade remains in a non-contact jersey.
- Defensive lineman Davon Godchaux arrived without full pads.
- Center David Andrews wasn't at practice.
- Safety Marte Mapu was at practice but didn't participate.
- Tight end Jaheim Bell was seen on the field but wasn't in pads.

- Quarterback Joe Milton was third through 11-on-11s again. Zappe went third on the second set.
- Running backs Kevin Harris and Antonio Gibson both broke off long runs.
- Ja'Lynn Polk, Jalen Reagor, K.J. Osborn, Marcus Jones, DeMario Douglas, Gibson and Harris worked as kick returners.
- Linebacker Josh Uche was tossed from practice after fighting with Okorafor.
- Tight end Hunter Henry made a diving catch in 11-on-11s.
- Offensive tackle Tyrone Wheatley took a lap for a false start.
- Wide receiver Javon Baker made another impressive catch on a ball from Brissett.
- Wide receiver Tyquan Thornton made a diving catch from Brissett.
- Tight end Mitchell Wilcox had multiple drops.
- Defensive end Keion White beat offensive tackle Vederian Lowe in 11-on-11s.
- Maye struggled through 11-on-11s.
