The New England Patriots had Saturday off, but they got back into the swing of things on Sunday when held their fourth practice session of training camp behind Gillette Stadium.
New England's players still aren't in pads yet (expected to happen on Monday), but they were in shells for this session.
Here's everything that was seen on the practice fields on Sunday:
Participation/Attendance
- Christian Barmore and Marte Mapu both missed the start of the session. Mapu later joined his teammates on the field but didn't participate.
- Terrell Jennings (PUP) and Antonio Gibson (NFI) returned to action.
- Jake Andrews, Cole Strange and Sione Takitaki (all on PUP) were absent.
- Kendrick Bourne (PUP) warmed up but didn't participate.
- Shaun Wade remained in a non-contact jersey and eventually left.
- DeMario Douglas didn't participate in team drills.

- Drake Maye hit Kayshon Boutte on a go route with Christian Gonzalez in coverage.
- Ja'Lynn Polk "smoked" Jonathon Jones on a one-on-one route.
- Javon Baker got wide open on a route against Gonzalez.
- Jacoby Brissett hit Baker on a deep ball.
- Bailey Zappe got reps in the first 7-on-7s, while Joe Milton III didn't. Zappe didn't get reps in the first 11-on-11s period but Milton did.
- Caedan Wallace started at left tackle and Chukwuma Okorafor started at right tackle.
- Small fight after the second snap of 11-on-11s. David Andrews lost his helmet.
- Rookie Layden Robinson was sent on a lap after a false start.
- Alex Austin forced an incompletion against K.J. Osborn.
- Deatrich Wise had multiple batted passes and Keion White recorded a sack in 11-on-11s.
- Osborn, Douglas, Polk, Jalen Reagor and Marcus Jones worked on punt returns.
- Brissett and Austin Hooper connected on a great play with Kyle Dggers in coverage.
- Joe Giles-Harris intercepted Milton in 11-on-11s.
- Atonio Mafi struggled in the last 11-on-11 period.
- Chad Ryland and Drake Maye both went 3-for-4 on their field goal attempt. Both missed from 32 yards.
- Some noted that Sunday was Maye's worst session of camp to date.
