After using their first-round pick on North Carolina quarterback Drake Maye, the New England Patriots have traded pick No. 34 overall to the Los Angeles Chargers.

According to ESPN's Mike Reiss, the Patriots have sent No. 34 and No. 137 to Los Angeles for No. 37 and No. 110.

The Chargers used pick No. 34 on Georgia wideout Ladd McConkey.

New England has some clear needs on offense, but they'll move up into the fourth round from the fifth to move back just a few spots in the second.

Hopefully, the player they want is still around when they are on the clock.
