The New England Patriots opened a roster spot on Friday when they released undrafted rookie Kaleb Ford-Dement.
Now, New England has filled that spot, signing defensive lineman Josiah Bronson, according to The Boston Herald's Doug Kyed.
Bronson, 27, was originally an undrafted free agent of Washington in 2021, signing with the New Orleans Saints. He's also spent time with the Cleveland Browns, Dallas Cowboys, Miami Dolphins and the UFL's Memphis Showboats.
In his NFL career, he's appeared in eight games over three years, recording 12 total tackles and a quarterback hit. He also recorded 12 tackles and 1.5 sacks in the UFL this past season.
He's already present at training camp on Sunday, and he's wearing No. 75.
