After beating the Cincinnati Bengals 16-10 in Week 1 and starting the season 1-0, the New England Patriots are set to host the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday at Gillette Stadium.

New England showed a lot of grit in their first victory, committing to the ground game and playing physical defense which resulted in multiple takeaways.

The Patriots aren't expected to be one of the best teams in the NFL this year, but neither are the Seahawks, who also won their first game of the year.

The biggest battle between these two franchises took place in Super Bowl 49 when New England won 28-24 after Malcolm Butler sealed the game with a game-saving interception.

Injury concerns

New England has practiced without guard Sidy Sow have had safety Kyle Dugger, guard Layden Robinson, running back JaMycal Hasty, linebacker Anfernee Jennings, offensive tackle Vederian Lowe, running back Antonio Gibson, safety Jabrill Peppers, linebacker Joshua Uche and defensive end Deatrich Wise Jr. as of Thursday.

Seattle has practiced without running back Kenneth Walker III, offensive tackle George Fant, right end Pharaoh Brown and Uchenna Nwosu. They've also had linebacker Tyrel Dodson, wide receiver Tyler Lockett, linebacker Jerome Baker, Dre'Mont Jones and cornerback Riq Woolen as limited.
