According to NFL Media, which cited an unidentified source, the Patriots and Brown added an option year onto his contract for 2020 at $20 million for "cap purposes" while noting it also "helps for accounting."
Brown will garner NLTBE incentives in addition to his signing and roster bonuses.
The #Patriots 1-year contract with WR Antonio Brown include a $1M base, $9M signing bonus (paid $5M now, $4M later), $500K in 46-man roster bonuses, and NLTBE incentives of $1.5M for each of the following: 105 catches, 1,298 yards, 16 TDs. Total: $15M.

After missing the Patriots' season-opening win over the Steelers on Sunday, Brown is set to make his debut with New England against the Dolphins in Week 2.
Brown's offseason and preseason were tumultuous, to say the least. He was traded from Pittsburgh to Oakland after a dramatic end to the 2018 season and seemed ready to get to work with his new team. But a cryotherapy-related injury, a helmet debacle and an outburst over fines for his absence during both incidents ended his stint before it even started.
Upon his release as requested, Brown found his new home in New England within a few hours.
But can the outspoken veteran adjust to the "Patriot Way" under coach Bill Belichick?
