Last preseason, New England Patriots quarterback Malik Cunningham was one of the most exciting players to watch on the field, as he showcased his athleticism on nearly every play.
While he was brought in as a quarterback, head coach Bill Belichick was also having him practice as a wide reciever.
The former Louisville Cardinal made New England's practice squad before being promoted and released within two weeks in October.
In December, Cunningham was signed off of the Patriots' practice squad by the Baltimore Ravens, but now it appears he's moving on from quarterback.
According to Ravens editorial director Ryan Mink, Cunningham is officially listed as a wide receiver on the team's roster and is making some plays at the position during their organized team activities.
It could be argued that Cunningham should've been given more of a shot to succeed at his original position, but if he can transition to wide receiver and be productive in the NFL, it'll be a remarkable story.
