New England Patriots wide receiver Kendrick Bourne has become the team's newest recruiter, following in the footsteps of his teammate Matthew Judon.
After a report that San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk had requested a trade (his agent has since shut that down), Bourne took the opportunity to, once again, attempt to persuade the Patriots to acquire Aiyuk.
@Patriots let’s get em! You getting all the targets u want! 👀👀 https://t.co/AdPOwPRsnh

Aiyuk has been impressive for the 49ers in recent seasons, making him a trade target that the Patriots should be considering. In 2023, Aiyuk brought in 75 receptions for 1,342 yards and seven scores. For comparison, no New England pass-catcher brought in more than 51 receptions or exceeded 561 yards or six touchdowns last season.
Bourne and Aiyuk played in San Francisco together in 2020, the latter's rookie season. That year, the two combined for 109 receptions for 1,415 yards and seven touchdowns.
