It's been over a week since Netflix streamed the roast of former New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady, and people are still buzzing about the night.

With everyone only getting so much time, a number of roasters likely had topics that they wanted to hit on that they couldn't, and former Patriots wideout Julian Edelman falls into that category.

Speaking on "Pardon My Take" earlier in the week, Edelman shared a joke that he wanted to use that would've involved Rob Gronkowski and a shot at his old head coach, Bill Belichick.

"I was going to have Gronk in on it," Edelman said. "I would've been like 'Everyone has this big old thing out for Gronk that he's kind of a dumb, simple guy; a dum-dum. It's not true. He's actually a savant with numbers. Watch. Gronk, what's 69 minus 37? 32. That's right, Gronk. The same number of teams that would rather lose than have a conversation with coach Belichick."

Belichick was a good sport about everything throughout the night, so he probably would've rolled with Edelman's joke as well, and it could've been a great moment.
