The New England Patriots will open their 2024 campaign against the Cincinnati Bengals at Paycor Stadium on Sunday, September 8 at 1:00 p.m. ET, which is now 29 days away.

Until the opening kickoff of the season for the Patriots, we'll be counting down each day by looking back at those who have worn each specific jersey number.

Since 1960, 28 players have worn No. 29 in New England, and with 29 days until their first game of the year, here's a look at everyone who's worn the number for the team:

CB Isaiah Bolden: Present

  • Hasn't appeared in a game for New England yet
  • Missed all of 2023 with a head/neck injury
  • Expected to compete for a depth roster/practice squad spot

CB J.C. Jackson: 2023

  • Appeared in 70 games for New England over five seasons, recording 168 tackles (four for a loss), 59 passes defensed, 25 interceptions, three fumble recoveries, one forced fumble and a quarterback hit
  • Made one Pro Bowl and won a Super Bowl with the Patriots
  • Also played for the Los Angeles Chargers

DB Justin Bethel: 2019-21

  • Appeared in 42 games for New England over three seasons, recording 26 tackles, two forced fumbles, a fumble recovery and a pass defensed
