New England Patriots rookie wide receiver Javon Baker may have been the second wideout drafted by his own team this year, but he's not lacking confidence in his ability.
After he was taken, he told fans and media members about the amazing things he was going to do in the league, and now he's letting everyone know just how good he is.
“No way in (expletive) America 10 receivers better than me," Baker said in a recent video. "You’re out of your (expletive) mind.”
Baker was the 19th wideout taken in this year's draft while Ja'Lynn Polk was the 10th.
The UCF product has a lot of work to do if he wants to prove that he's the level of receiver that he says he is in the NFL, but confidence is key at that position.
If Baker is as good as he's advertising himself to be, New England got a steal in the fourth round of this year's draft, and their quarterback, whether that be Drake Maye or Jacoby Brissett, will be in a much better situation because of him.
