While many believe that the New England Patriots should take a quarterback with the third overall pick in next week's NFL draft, at least one former member of the organization believes they should do something else.

Former Patriots running back James White took to social media this week to ask what Patriots fans want the team to do, and with that, he explained that he wants New England to take Ohio State wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr.

Taking a potentially game-changing wideout would be beneficial for the Patriots' offense which doesn't have the best talent in the receiver room.

However, it wouldn't make much sense to take Harrison or any other non-quarterback at No. 3 overall. If they don't like whichever quarterback is still there when they're on the clock, the Patriots should trade down, acquire more picks and add a talented player at another position like wide receiver or offensive tackle.

If Harrison ends up in New England, fans should be thrilled, but it comes with the cost that they probably aren't getting a franchise quarterback through the draft.
