When the New England Patriots originally signed Jabrill Peppers back in 2022, he was coming off of a torn ACL and hadn't been used properly throughout the other four seasons of his rookie contract split between the Cleveland Browns and New York Giants.
Since arriving in New England, he's gone from a core special teamer to a defensive starter, playing nearly 1,000 defensive snaps in 2023, and he'll likely be asked to take on even more responsibility with the team moving on from Adrian Phillips this offseason.
This comes at a good time for Peppers, as he's in the final year of his two-year contract, and that's what's motivating him to have a great season, according to an Instagram story posted on Thursday.

If Peppers goes out and plays like he did last year, he'll receive a nice payday from someone, and considering New England has been signing their core guys, they could do the same with him. Either way, they'll benefit from him going all out in a contract year.
