After taking South Carolina cornerback Marcellas Dial with their first pick in the sixth round, the New England Patriots used their second on Tennessee quarterback Joe Milton.
Milton, 24, began his collegiate career at Michigan playing three years there (2018-20) before transferring to Tennessee for the final three (2021-23).
In 43 games over six years, Milton completed 61.5% of his passes for 5,353 yards, 37 touchdowns and 11 interceptions. He also added another 661 yards and 12 scores on the ground.
