The New England Patriots had multiple sixth-round picks in last weekend's draft due to the trade that sent quarterback Mac Jones to the Jacksonville Jaguars.
With that very, the Patriots added their second quarterback of the draft, Joe Milton III from Tennessee, after taking North Carolina's Drake Maye in the first round.
Milton is known for his huge arm, which was the most impressive of the rookie class coming out. However, he's also one of the oldest of the bunch and has some issues with his accuracy that led to him being a Day-3 selection.
For those who didn't get a chance to study his play at Tennessee, the Patriots put together a highlight tape for their fans to familiarize themselves with Milton's game.
That arm talent is something else.
Milton will have an opportunity to earn a spot on the roster this offseason, but he'll have to beat out Bailey Zappe and/or Nathan Rourke. If he can show small signs of improvement quickly, he'll be worth the investment as a project.
