On Sunday, the football world was rocked by the passing of former NFL wide receiver Jacoby Jones, who spent his nine-year career with the Houston Texans, Baltimore Ravens, San Diego Chargers and Pittsburgh Steelers. The highlight of his career came in Super Bowl 47 when he returned a kickoff 108 yards for a touchdown in Baltimore's win over the San Francisco 49ers.
After the news broke, many current and retired NFL players shared their thoughts and memories of Jones, including former New England Patriots wide receiver Donte Stallworth, who shared a memory of training with Jones before he made it to the league on social media.
I’ll never forget training with Jacoby Jones in New Orleans. he was fresh outta St Aug when I was playing for the Saints and he made it clear his plans to not only play in the NFL but make an impact. he did exactly that.

RIP brother 🙏🏿🕊️
The NFL creates lifetime bonds between these players, and considering how many people spoke about Jones on Sunday, it's clear he made an impact on those he interacted with.
