In less than a week, the New England Patriots, along with the other 31 teams in the league, will be adding talented young players to their rosters through the 2024 NFL draft.

The Patriots currently hold the third overall pick in the selection process, putting them in a great position to take one of the top quarterbacks in the draft, but there's been much debate over who they should take.

While New England's front office and coaching staff will obviously play their hand close to the chest, some members of the organization are making their opinions known.

On Friday, Patriots defensive lineman Davon Godchaux took to social media to express his interest in the team drafting LSU's Jayden Daniels in the first round.

Not only would Godchaux be happy that New England be adding a dynamic playmaker if they selected Daniels, who won the Heisman Trophy this past year, but they'd also be adding another player from his alma mater.

Godchaux played for LSU from 2014-16 before being taken by the Miami Dolphins in the fifth round of the 2017 draft.

The defensive lineman should probably be focused on adding the most-talented player at the most important position, but Daniels just may be that.
