The New England Patriots made a splash on Monday when they signed defensive lineman Chrisitan Barmore to a massive contract extension that could keep him with the team through 2027.
Barmore, 24, has been one of New England's best, young players since they traded up to select him in the second round of the 2021 NFL draft out of Alabama.
With the way things have gone in recent years and the lack of homegrown talent that the Patriots have secured, fans voiced their pleasure with the extension on social media after the news broke.
