On Wednesday night at Gillette Stadium, the New England Patriots welcomed in thousands of fans and hundreds of current and former members of the organization to celebrate Tom Brady, as he was inducted into the Patriots Hall of Fame.
One person who made an appearance near the end of the night was former Patriots head coach Bill Belichick, who agreed to mutually part ways with the team earlier this offseason.
Belichick received a long ovation from the fans before giving his speech, and when Brady got back up on stage, he had some kind words to say about his former coach.
"It wasn't me. It wasn't you. It was us," Brady said to Belichick. "Let me make this crystal clear: There is no coach in the world I would rather play for than Bill Belichick."
While things didn't end well in New England between the quarterback and coach, it's clear they've solved a lot of their issues and have moved on to the next stage in their relationship, and it's great to see.
