The New England Patriots will be traveling this weekend, as they'll take on the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday afternoon at Paycor Stadium in their first game under new head coach Jerod Mayo.

New England is entering this Week 1 matchup as a clear underdog, as they're 8.5-point underdogs for this road matchup, and NFL fans seem to be picking against them in droves.

According to PoolGenius, taking the Bengals over the Patriots on Sunday is the most popular pick in survivor pools with 37% of his participants choosing that result.

Considering the talent and coaching experience disparity, it's not tough to see why Cincinnati is the sexy pick in the opener, but New England has a chance to upset NFL fans again just as they used to during their dynastic run of nearly two decades of dominance.

So many strange things can happen in Week 1, and there's a chance that the Patriots just put everything together and capitalize on Cincinnati's mistakes enough to earn a victory and eliminate so many people from their pools.

New England is playing the "nobody believes in us" card, and they're right. This would be a perfect time for them to prove to the NFL world that they're wrong.
