The dead period of the NFL offseason is nearly over with training camp starting next week, and the New England Patriots hitting the practice fields starting on July 24 outside of Gillette Stadium.
While the attention will be on the current players and coaches on the field, as they prepare for the upcoming season, head coach Jerod Mayo will welcome a number of former Patriots to the sessions. In total, there will be 14 players who once donned the Flying Elvis in attendance. Here's who will be there, and when:
- July 24 – Rob Ninkovich and Ted Johnson
- July 25 – Sony Michel
- July 26 – Danny Amendola
- July 28 – Patrick Chung and Brian Hoyer
- July 29 – Rex Burkhead
- July 30 – Marcus Cannon
- August 1 – Dan Koppen
- August 2 – Brandon Mitchell
- August 3 – James White
- August 12 – Damien Harris
- August 13 – Deion Branch and Corey Dillon
This is a very cool opportunity to catch up with some Super Bowl champions some of whom probably haven't been back to Gillette Stadium in front of fans in some time.
