The New England Patriots have had an extremely active start to the week, as they needed to get their roster from 90 players to 53 before Tuesday's 4:00 p.m. ET deadline.
With all of these moves, there were a few surprises, including the releases of running back Kevin Harris and cornerback Shaun Wade, who have both looked pretty good in training camp.
While there will probably be more changes to the roster coming in the following days with waiver claims, signings and moves to injured reserve, here's the first look at the Patriots' initial 53-man roster for Jerod Mayo's first season as head coach.
