Patrick Mahomes says not to believe what you see on Twitter.
The Chiefs quarterback posted a tweet Friday that may have been a response to a tweet that claimed he's fed up with the sideline behavior of his fiancee, Brittany Matthews, and brother, Jackson Mahomes, and wants them to stay away from his games next NFL season.

The drama started Wednesday as an ESPN2 camera showed Mahomes and Matthews sitting courtside at a Texas Tech men's basketball game. Internet detectives thought there was friction between the two.

That was followed Friday by a tweet thread from San Diego sports radio host and former NFL player Rich Ohrnberger, who said he was "told" Patrick Mahomes instructed Matthews and Jackson Mahomes after the end of the 2021 season not to attend Chiefs games in 2022.

"Mahomes believes that Jackson and Brittany have become a distraction, and their sideline antics are bad for his brand," Ohrnberger, who also works for Fox Sports Radio, tweeted. Ohrnberger later deleted the posts.
A Mahomes source issued a denial to TMZ, and then Patrick Mahomes sent his tweet.
Jackson Mahomes caught heat on social media last season for, among other things, altercations with fans and stadium TikTok dances. He was blasted for dancing on a memorial to the late Sean Taylor at a Chiefs-WFT game.
Matthews has received regular exposure at games. The most recent wave of criticism against her hit in January after she sprayed champagne from the stands at Arrowhead Stadium to celebrate the Chiefs' overtime win over the Bills in the AFC divisional round.
