Patrick Mahomes is not fine with the combine.
The Chiefs quarterback was one of many viewers of the NFL Scouting Combine on Thursday night, when quarterbacks, wide receivers and tight ends took part in testing and drills ahead of the 2022 NFL Draft.
With plenty of speedy players taking the field at Lucas Oil Stadium — really, some historically good numbers — a lot of the passers surpassed Mahomes' 2017 combine 40-yard dash time of 4.80 seconds, leading to the Chiefs quarterback tweeting through it.
Indy must have switch the turf or something since i ran on it 😂😂😂

Mahomes' time in 2017 was good for sixth among quarterbacks who ran, notably trailing Davis Webb, Mitchell Trubisky, Deshaun Watson, Josh Dobbs and Trevor Knight.
Mahomes' seeming disappointment didn't end there: The QB was placed in the fan-favorite Simulcam on NFL Network alongside Russell Wilson, Marcus Mariota and 2022 NFL Draft hopeful Desmond Ridder.
Ridder, the Cincinnati product, put down a very good 4.52 40 time, beating the times of Wilson (4.55) and Mahomes and officially tying Mariota.
The Chiefs passer didn't like being reminded by NFL Network that he wasn't the fleetest of foot among that group.
Y’all didn’t have to put me in that group getting left like that 😂😂😂 https://t.co/SdNdZDtFhp

Sorry, Patrick. Some guys just have all the luck. At least you were faster than Nathan Peterman.
