Patrick Mahomes' girlfriend said she was harassed by opposing fans from the start of Sunday's game between the Chiefs and Patriots at Gillette Stadium.
Brittany Matthews, who attended the game with Mahomes' younger brother Jackson, posted to her Twitter and Instagram pages multiple times throughout the AFC showdown. She says stadium security had to move her to a "safe place" because of the hostile treatment from New England supporters and noted that security caught the harassment on camera.

Matthews and Mahomes ended up getting the last laugh, as the Chiefs defeated the Patriots by a final score of 23-16. Patrick went 26-of-40 for 283 yards passing with one touchdown and one interception to help Kansas City clinch the AFC West title.
After the victory, Matthew celebrated on the field with Jackson and in a stadium hallway with Patrick.
