Pass rusher Michael Hoecht officially signed his restricted free agency tender Thursday, putting him back in a Rams uniform for the 2024 season. Hoecht was tendered by the Rams as a restricted free agent in March, which allowed him to field offers from other teams and would allow Los Angeles the chance to match.

However, Hoecht officially signed his tender today, making his return to the Rams to help reinforce their pass rush. His tender was worth $2.985M, a rewarding payday for the DT-turned-OLB.

Hoecht had a career year in 2023, hitting career bests in sacks and total tackles while starting every game for the Rams. Last season was Hoecht's first playing outside linebacker full-time after switching from the defensive line late in the 2022 season.

Hoecht has notched 11 sacks, 124 total tackles, 9 QB hits and two forced fumbles in three seasons with the Rams since joining them as an undrafted free agent signee out of Brown in 2021.
