For Panthers and Buccaneers fans in Charlotte and Tampa, finding the TV channel for Sunday morning's game in London will be easy, as local broadcasts in those markets are available. Those in the rest of the TV markets around the country will find the game, scheduled to kick off at 9:30 a.m. ET from London's Tottenham Stadium, on NFL Network.
The game is the second matchup of the season between these NFC South rivals. Though the Buccaneers edged the Panthers in their first meeting a few weeks ago, Carolina entered the Week 6 game as a 2 1/2-point favorite, per Sportsbook Review.
WEEK 6 NFL PICKS:
Against the spread | Straight-up predictions
The Panthers are on a run of three wins in a row following that loss to the Bucs, thanks mostly to running back Christian McCaffrey, who had a season-high 237 scrimmage yards and three touchdowns last week and leads the NFL with 866 scrimmage yards through the first five weeks of the 2019 season.
With 134 more scrimmage yards in London against Tampa Bay, McCaffrey would join Pro Football Hall of Famers Jim Brown (1963) and Marshall Faulk (2000) as the only players in NFL history with at least 1,000 scrimmage yards through their team's first six games of a season. Further, McCaffrey, who has at least 175 scrimmage yards in each of his past three games, needs 175 scrimmage against the Bucs to tie Edgerrin James (Weeks 7-10, 1999) for the longest streak of games with at least 175 scrimmage yards in NFL history.
On the other side of the ball, Buccaneers wide receiver Chris Godwin is working on an impressive streak himself; he recorded 12 catches for 172 yards and two touchdowns in Week 4, and seven catches for 125 yards and two scores in Week 5. With at least 125 receiving yards and two receiving touchdowns against Carolina, Godwin would become the fourth player in NFL history to have three consecutive games with at least 125 receiving yards and two touchdowns (Andre Rison, Don Maynard, Cloyce Box).
