What channel is Packers vs. Vikings on today? Time, TV schedule for Week 2 game image

Before the season, Sporting News ranked Packers vs. Vikings among the 10 best rivalries in the NFL for 2019. So this game, scheduled to kick off at 1 p.m. ET Sunday on Fox, did not need additional juice, especially this early in the season. But opening weekend provided just that.

Green Bay is coming off a defensive masterpiece against Chicago, and Minnesota is fresh off its domination of Atlanta. The Vikings, who many picked to finish behind the Packers and the Bears in the NFC North this season, played like a team looking to make an early-season statement.

The last time these rivals played in Green Bay, almost exactly one year ago, the game ended in a 29-29 tie. Minnesota won their second meeting in November, the Vikings third win over the Packers in their last four games.

This is Packers coach Matt LaFleur's introduction to the Green Bay-Minnesota rivalry; Vikings coach Mike Zimmer is 5-4-1 in his career against the Packers. Green Bay leads the all-time series, 59-53-3.
