Davante Adams will miss Monday night's matchup against the Falcons with a hamstring injury, according to the wide receiver himself.

Typically, teams will wait until 90 minutes before kickoff before revealing whether a player will be active. That's the deadline the league has set for teams to list their inactives for gameday. But Adams, seemingly out of frustration, tweeted about his unavailability Monday morning.

In the process, Adams also hinted at some anger toward the Packers' medical staff.

"Sorry fans and friends, I won't be on the field tonight," Adams said. "I've done everything I need to do and proved I'm ready, but I guess I don't know my body as well as others. Good luck out there my boys."

Adams deleted the tweet within the next hour.

Adams injured his hamstring in Week 2 against the Lions, and ended up not finishing the game. At the time, the team said that he was held out as a precaution. However, he ended up missing Week 3's game against the Saints and will now miss Week 4 against the Falcons.

The Packers' receiver was limited in practice throughout the week and has a questionable tag. He was listed as doubtful the week prior.

Green Bay is now dealing with an abundance of injuries with a total of 14 players listed on the injury report. The Packers have been hit hard on offense as Aaron Rodgers will now be working without Adams, WR Allen Lazard (core) and TE Marcedes Lewis (knee). Backup tight end Josiah Deguara is also listed as questionable with an ankle injury.

At any rate, it seems Adams should return for the Packers' next game. His tweet makes it apparent that he feels good enough to play, and he'll get an extended rest period as the Packers have their bye during Week 5.
