The negative attention Odell Beckham Jr. is receiving for his sideline antics has not sat well with him.
The Giants wide receiver indicated he was very frustrated with how he is being perceived for his blowups on the field and his overall situation with the Giants.
"Football is my sanctuary," Beckham told ESPN on Tuesday. "It's where I go to escape. It's where I'm most happy. I'm not having fun anymore."

Beckham's comments come after the Giants' 24-10 loss to the Vikings on Monday Night Football. He verbally got into it with cornerback Xavier Rhodes several times and things got physical after Beckham got hit late by Rhodes.
The referee crew missed the late hit, but they didn't miss Beckham storming after Rhodes, which resulted in a taunting penalty.
RIVERA: Don't mistake Odell's immaturity for his passion
According to Beckham, his "tarnished" image began last season, when he sparred with then-Panthers cornerback Josh Norman on the field. The feud grew throughout the offseason and manifested itself again last week when the Giants took on Norman's new team, the Redskins.
Beckham involvement on the field has also diminished — he was held to a career-worst 23 receiving yards on three catches.
"What I'm communicating, we're not doing," he vented. "I'm not getting the opportunities to contribute, and that's frustrating to me."
